Over the weekend, I had the privilege to meet with some of the board members - Aunty Kevina, Aunty Tammy and Aunty Jenny - to kick off the first meeting of the Board of WOTHATSIC – With Our Two Hands Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Corporation.
What an honour and a privilege to be asked to be a Specialist non-member for this Board, providing child protection advice and guidance as they enter this space. I feel strongly that I will be gaining more than I can give within this role, with the knowledge, skills, experience and wisdom of this collective group being so dynamic.
